Base pay + shared tips typically means $30-40+/hr. We guarantee you'll never make less than $20/hr—if tips fall short, we cover the difference.

Team Member
We're looking for friendly, energetic people to join our crew. If you love making people happy and want a fun, flexible job—this is it.
1What You'll Do
- Safely drive our trucks, trailers, and carts to and from events
- Scoop and serve Italian ice with a smile
- Create a welcoming, fun atmosphere for customers (many of whom are kids!)
- Set up and break down equipment at events
- Keep the cart/truck clean and organized
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Represent the Good Vices brand with energy and enthusiasm
2What We're Looking For
- Clean criminal background check required
- Clean driving record (8+ years preferred)—safety is our top priority
- Comfortable driving large, awkward vehicles (trucks, trailers, oversized carts) in crowded event spaces
- Willing to learn manual and automatic transmission if you don't already know
- Reliable transportation to Richmond-area events
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs (coolers, equipment)
- Ability to push cart up to 500 lbs up slight inclines
- Friendly, patient personality—we work around lots of kids and families
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather
- Available on weekends (when most events happen)
+Nice to Have
- ★Already comfortable driving manual transmission
- ★Previous food service or customer service experience
- ★Experience working at events, festivals, or around children
- ★Comfortable with social media (we love when team members create content!)
- ★Food handler's certification (we can help you get this)

It Gets HOT
You'll be working outside in Virginia summers. We're talking 100°+ days. If you can't handle the heat, this isn't the gig.

Things Break Down
Trucks, trailers, and equipment have bad days. You need basic technical skills—changing a tire, jumping a battery, troubleshooting on the fly.

You'll Work Alone
Many events are solo shifts. You need to be comfortable handling everything yourself for hours at a time.
